About the Speaker:

Mark Schiefer

Modal Shop

Mark Schiefer, Senior Scientist at the Modal Shop, has an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and over 30 years experience as both an engineer and scientist.
His career began in design and product development of multi-channel FFT analyzers and condition monitoring systems. In recent years his involvement at TMS includes development vibration and shock accelerometer calibration workstations. He has participated in development of IEEE1451 standards, various smart sensor signal conditioners, and recently laser primary as well as advanced low frequency accelerometer calibration techniques by optical encoding techniques.
